AMBIMEDINC - RE- RELEASES PALCO’S INJECT-EASE; AN INNOVATIVE DEVICE THAT HELPS MAKE SUB-CUTANEOUS INJECTIONS EASY AND COMFORTABLE FOR DIABETICS.

Capitola, California USA - January 15, 2010 – AMBIMEDINC, Designer and Manufacturer of World Class Medical Devices, today announced that Palco’s Inject-Ease®, an innovative device designed to reduce the pain and fear associated with self-injections, is again available to the diabetic market. AMBIMEDINC purchased Palco’s product line in 2009.

According to adult and pediatric patients, the Inject-Ease reduces the emotional fear and physical pain of injections. The Inject-Ease is a unique injection aid that holds a syringe and allows the patient or caregiver to deliver an easy and comfortable injection with a push of a single button. The needle and syringe are shielded from view, preventing needle anxiety and its design for one-handed use with either hand, makes rotating to different sites quick and simple. It is valuable to those with limited dexterity or coordination in helping to reach hard-to-access injection sites while at the same time controlling the rate at which the medicine is injected.

The Inject-Ease is reusable and is designed for use with Becton-Dickinson insulin syringes. It comes with 3 adapter tips, 30 unit (0.3 ml), 50 unit (.05 ml) and 100 unit (1.0 ml), for 1/3cc, 1/2cc, 1cc syringes, two spacer rings, 1/8 in. (0.317 cm) and ¼ in. (0.635 cm) and a clear plunger cap.
